Terms of Service

By accessing or using AstroChartus (“the Service”), available at astrochartus.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AstroChartus. We encourage you to read them carefully before using our platform. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

AstroChartus is a personalized astrology platform that provides the following services:

• Birth chart generation — natal charts calculated using VSOP87 planetary theory and the Swiss Ephemeris for sub-arcsecond precision
• Personalized horoscopes — daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts derived from your actual birth chart and current planetary transits
• In-depth reports — personality profiles, relationship compatibility analyses, and other astrological reports based on your natal chart data
• Synastry calculator — relationship compatibility analysis comparing two birth charts
• Astrological content library — 520+ pages covering zodiac signs, houses, planetary placements, aspects, and compatibility pairings

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating and maintaining your account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information — supply truthful, current, and complete registration details, including your birth data (date, time, and place of birth) for chart calculations
• Maintain account security — keep your password confidential and not share your login credentials with any third party
• Accept responsibility — you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it
• Report unauthorized access — notify us immediately at support@astrochartus.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account
• One account per person — each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, contain false information, or remain inactive for an extended period.

You agree to use the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, national, or international laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of third parties
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or our computer systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or networks connected to the Service
• Use automated systems, bots, scrapers, or similar tools to access the Service without our express written permission
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our prior written consent
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or to send unsolicited communications

AstroChartus offers both free and paid subscription tiers. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, semi-annually, or annually, depending on your chosen plan)
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers
• You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account, including applicable taxes

Automatic Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date
• You will be charged the then-current rate at the time of renewal. We will provide advance notice of any price changes

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then
• We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law

Free Tier

Free accounts have access to basic features including birth chart generation, the astrology content library, and the synastry calculator. Premium features such as personalized horoscopes and in-depth reports require a paid subscription.

All content, features, functionality, and materials available through the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, astrological interpretations, and chart visualizations — are owned by AstroChartus or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Rights

• You retain ownership of any personal data you provide (birth details, profile information)
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes
• You may save or print your own birth chart and reports for personal use

Restrictions

• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Service without our express written permission
• You may not use AstroChartus content to train artificial intelligence models or for any automated data extraction purposes
• The AstroChartus name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of AstroChartus and may not be used without permission

This is an important section. Please read it carefully.

The astrological information, readings, horoscopes, birth chart interpretations, and reports provided through AstroChartus are offered for entertainment and educational purposes and as a tool for self-reflection and personal insight.

Our astrological content should not be considered as, or used as a substitute for:

• Professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice or treatment
• Financial, investment, or business advice
• Legal counsel or guidance
• Any other form of professional advice requiring licensed expertise

While our birth charts are calculated with astronomical precision using VSOP87 planetary theory, the interpretations derived from these charts are based on astrological tradition and should be understood within that context. Always consult with qualified professionals for important life decisions relating to health, finances, legal matters, or other critical areas.

AstroChartus makes no claims regarding the scientific validity of astrology and does not guarantee specific outcomes based on astrological readings.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AstroChartus and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, whether direct or indirect
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions
• Any actions taken or decisions made based on astrological information provided through the Service
• Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service, whether voluntary or involuntary

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to AstroChartus in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability — no warranty that the Service is fit for commercial purposes
• Fitness for a particular purpose — no warranty that the Service meets your specific requirements
• Non-infringement — no warranty that the Service does not infringe upon the rights of third parties
• Availability — no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Accuracy — while we strive for astronomical precision in our calculations, no warranty that all astrological interpretations will be personally applicable

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Breach of these Terms of Service
• Providing false, inaccurate, or misleading account information
• Engaging in conduct that is harmful to other users, to AstroChartus, or to third parties
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Extended account inactivity

Effect of Termination

• Your right to use the Service will cease immediately upon termination
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability

Voluntary Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
• For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect
• We may also post a prominent notice on the Service itself

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and, if applicable, cancel your subscription.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We encourage you to contact us first if you have a dispute, as we want to resolve issues amicably whenever possible.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at support@astrochartus.com. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve any claim within 30 days.

Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law. The arbitration shall be conducted in English.

Exceptions

Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property rights or unauthorized access to the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AstroChartus regarding the use of the Service, and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
